Happy Heart Day from Lily

I know. We take too many pictures of Lily. Oh well. My friend, Desiree, and I took our girls to the mall yesterday to have these pictures done. I was surprised Lily even smiled since she's been a fussy, teething baby, but she did so I was happy about that. As you can see from the picture, Lily has a lot of rolls, but that just means there is more of her to love! She wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

My Funny Valentine

We decided to make our Valentines this year. I'm no photographer, but with Lorin's help we were able to get some pics of Lily. Since she can't talk, we thought we would translate for her. :) We sure love her lots. She's getting so big and we think she's teething. How do we know she's teething? 1 - She's super fussy 2 - She's been waking up every 2 hours at night. 3 - She's been drooling like mad. If she's not teething, well.... we don't want to know what she's like when she is.

PoLkA DoT Tot

I have an obsession with polka dots. I'm not afraid to admit it. So, naturally, if I ever see anything polka dot in the baby section, I have to buy it. Poor Lily is the one who gets punished for my polka-dot-obsessive disease. Fortunately, she looks dang cute in polka dots so I guess it's a good thing.
I cannot believe that Lily is already over 4 months. Time has flown by way too fast. It seems just like yesterday that I had her, but at the same time it seems so long ago. Seeing her grow up has made me realize how important children are. They truly bring parents so much joy, and I hope that Lorin and I can have many more kids. If Lily can bring us so much happiness, then why wouldn't we want a whole bunch more? I know it will be hard, but at the same time I know it will be SOO worth it. And no, I'm not pregnant.... Although, I cannot wait for the next bundle of joy to enter our home! :)

President Hinckley

We were so sad to hear of the passing of President Hinckley. He has been such an inspirational, loving and kind prophet. Although we are sad to see him go, we are also so very happy that he can be with his wife, Marjorie, now. We will always remember all that he taught us as well as all the hard work he did in helping construct so many temples and helping bringing millions to the gospel. He truly was a prophet of God and we will always be grateful for all he did for us.

Family Picnic

She doesn't look a thing like me but oh well. Power to the people!
Lily loves her tia Tara.

Saturday we had a picnic with some of the fam. It was fun to watch the kids play and run around. We can't wait for Lily to join in on all the games when she is older. It truly is so much fun to spend time with family, and we were glad to spend time with Tyler since he will be leaving to Chicago to attend Northwestern for two months.
